Sally and the Gang! Four Mile Beach, Santa Cruz.

Please note, this beach is technically a No Dog zone; although Sally was not the only dog. Also note, this is a nude beach! Sally (we all) saw a set of pretty boobies. A Hawaiian-esque babe next to us was inhaling wippets and then frolicking boobly-like in the waves. When her chihuahua growled at Sally, she picked it up, tossed it into the sand like a quarterback would toss a football, and then smiled sweetly at me.

Taking Sally to a beach outing was not the vision of relaxation I imagined. Sand. Sand. And more sand. Everywhere. Her water bowl had to be dumped several times, and then she dumped it herself every time she darted through us, to avoid be caught by another dog. I tried to find the Water Boy bowl before this trip but I couldn't find it in San Francisco. Ya better believe I ordered it today. Dog owners, I highly recommend this for your outdoor adventures.

Sally loves to be chased (don't we all). She spent most of the day egging on a Husky to chase her down the beach; whenever she got tired or out of breath, she ran between my legs.

End of the day, she passed out like a champ while we ate at Saturn Cafe. Two fists to the heart for Sally.
